So, I live a very unencumbered existence.
Haven't worn a watch in the four decades since high school.
Don't carry a pager or cellphone.
Never worn a hat.
Don't know where an umbrella is.
Beautiful sunny morning when I started my walk, and at the far end of my path ... you guessed it ... falling moisture.
Not the "Chance of Showers" kind, but full-on subtropical torrential downpour. Ended as suddenly as it began.
One squeegee of my dome with my hand and I was good to go.
Bald is great!
Indeed bald is great...I was working out in the wind, bending over a lot yesterday and I thought about back in my days of long hair. I thought of when I would look in a mirror and my long hair was messed up, frizzy with sticks and leaves in it...I was a self conscience cripple. No more, now the leaves and twigs roll right off.
There's nothing like the feeling of letting a smooth dome air dry after a rain storm. Especially if there's a light breeze.
No hair, no worries.
Rain on a sly dome is a great feeling. Equally diving into the sea or a pool is a wonderful experience.
I also dislike cell phones - aren't people addicted to always be checking them.
Then again I am always keen to check messages on the computer.
I too have noticed the advantage of being sly in the rain. No more soaked hat or wet hair, just a quick swipe of the dome. I haven't had the opportunity to go swimming yet with my new found freedom but look forward to it. Bald is Great!
It started to rain while I was on my way from work today.
It was just a shower, enough to enjoy the water drops splashing on the dome.
