A dermatoligist can remove it, which would be a good idea if you are always nicking it.
Yes, easy to be removed by a Doctor.
I have a few small red dots on the top of my head. They are about the size of a pin head, I guess they are a form of a mole. How simple is it for a Dr. to remove?

Depending on the size, he may "freeze" it, or possibly inject it. I've never had a mole removed personally, but I have a friend who had a couple removed and he said that he went under the knife for a couple of hours, but they numbed the areas to be cut first so he said the pain wasn't too bad...
intersting, mines fairly small, what the run the price of this?

If you have health insurance or Tricare, most dermatologists will accept it. Check to make sure.
You can easily get rid of your problem by using homemade remedies without any side effects. There is no need of consulting a doctor as he will give u some drugs or suggestion of using cosmetic products which can cause side effects. You can use some remedies like garlic paste on your mole and cover it with bandage. This one is simplest home remedy.

How To Remove Pimples

I would get them checked, but unless they bleed or are a precancerous lesion I don't think the doctor would do anything.

i've always had them, i know i used a disposable razor one day, and boy, it bled lol. It may have been the fact of the dull blade though.
I had Four taken off last year, 3 on my back and one above my ear. There was NO pain, a few strange noises of scalpels grating etc which was a little weird. I started shaving a week ago and cut a small mole on the back of my head, it bled for quite a while, i avoided it the lasts shave and did the area with an electric seiko, obviously no cuts and time to heal; Will shave again tomorrow and see how it goes. I think a bit of technique is needed by me and understanding the back of my head by touch etc. I have one about a centimeter across, but quite flat, too big to cut, but a worry for when the sun comes out here in france. my skin is not too irritated, a tiny bit tender for an hour then fine as long as i dont put any cream or aftershave, then it picks/prickles for ages
