Is there anyone here beside myself that is tired of explaining the new look??
I have to go to a dinner party on Friday with my Fiance' and about 10 of her girlfriends and their significant others. I look forward to being out in public because I am getting very comfortable w/o a hat and the "cat" on my head. I just am tired of explaining myself...
Would a simple "F**k OFF!" do?

Yosp, it'll do. As time goes on I am beginning to notice that when someone begins to show confidence others are threatened. Their only option is to attack with words in a way to bring the person down. Dont let it happen!!!! F*** em!!

It's been so long since I've had to explain myself that I can't remember any of the smart ass remarks that I made.

I appreciate it Navrn2, I could care less about the look from people that I don't know, I just don't care for the "what the hell happen to you?" look from the ones I do know, and then having to follow with my story...
Maybe I will just have the ladies rub my head while I wink at their boyfriends!

YOSP....
Ok, this is classic, especially with dudes that are MPBing...so now that you are no longer sad balding guy (in their minds) and now you're taking charge guy that actually looks cool now AND confident...they can't stand it, they no longer have "one over you"!
Believe it or not people used to probably love that you were the" balding guy"...made them feel better about their not so great lives or situations...
but now that you're sly, you've taken charge and moved forward with YOUR life...trust me that is part of those questions!
Keep it sly brother!

Come up with smartass comebacks in advance.
Remark: "Dude yer bald"
Explanation: "Yeah, and yer stupid....but I can grow my hair back"
I'll have to use that this weekend on my golf junket.

Robmeister, You simply amaze me!!
Your remark applies only to some SLY BBC'ers.
If those of us that are a few hairs short of growing back a full head of hair......
would use that remark, it would be thrown right back at us........
Antagonist: Dude yer bald
SLY Explanation: Yeah, and yer stupid....but I can grow my hair back
Antagonist: Grow back Your hair, LOL

....Yeah, Only "some" of it, LOL

The worst people in the world for making these kinds of wisecracks are middle-aged men (50s and 60s) -- either because they are delighted to see someone else lose their hair, or -- if they still have most of their hair themselves, it makes them feel good to see a younger guy who doesn't. I went to a wedding last year and actually grew some stubble out for about 4 or 5 days ahead of time, because I knew the shaved head would attract some unwanted attention. Sure enough, all the "bald" comments came from men in their 50s and 60s. They seem to feel entitled to be rude and make personal remarks about someone else's appearance. I'm not sure why that is.

I had this jolly old client in here one day who kept calling me Onionhead (from some old movie) and rubbing my head to tease me. I knew it was in good fun, but my scalp is for young female hands only!

As far as the looks go YOSP, I have found it best to use the good old intimidation factor and just glare at them. You'll find they don't look you in the eye for long. The comments like "Why did you do that?" Usually a "Because I could" or a "Not bad huh, looks way better than yours" usually works
