Something special to listen to....

I've never been a fan of opera. I've never understood listening to music in a language that I don't understand.
I came across this song while channel surfing today on a show entitled "Great Performances". The song is being performed by a young girl I had never heard of before today. The song is entitled "Nessun Dorma".

I didn't understand a single word while this young lady was singing but this is one of the most beautiful and moving things I have ever heard. I now understand why people enjoy opera.

I did some googling after I watched this.

Beautiful young girl with a beautiful voice. An amazing song. I read the story and translation on line. Beautiful.......
