Yesterday was 30 days for me - still shaving the dome! I'm very excited, as I am finally visiting home for the first time since April. First time I've seen my wife in nearly four months. It'll be the first time she's seen me bald, obviously. She's seen pictures and likes it, no worries there.
I finally get to move my wife out here with me as I continue Respiratory Therapy school. Got a nice apartment lined up and ready to go, just need to finalize some odds and ends and see when the contractors can get my stuff out of storage in Florida and move it here to Texas. I'll be driving my car back here after Christmas.
Life is good. I'm living the dream. I'm getting paid to go to school studying a field of medicine I love while serving in the worlds finest naval force, I have a great wife who is about to finish up her paralegal studies from Duke, and a great dog who still manages to be awesome day after day. We've worked our butts off to get here, made a lot of sacrifices...and I wouldn't change a thing.
