Sad news
« on: April 28, 2007, 05:28:35 PM »
Last month I wrote about the annual Wheatens on Parade contest, a fundraiser to benefit Wheatens In Need Rescue.  I was campaigning on behalf of a dog named Misti, and many of you were kind enough to cast a vote for her, and helped put her over the top to win the contest.

I just wanted to let everyone who participated know that little Misti lost her battle with cancer today.   Thank you again to everyone who voted for her.  It really helped her owner get through a really rough time.

I send my condolences to her owner. I don't know what I would do if I lost Pistol, so I can't imagine what she's going through. It's the saddest thing when angels fly away.

That's a bummer man!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I lost my Zuni about a month ago as well.  A Bull Mastiff, a gigantic Teddy bear. She passed do to a bad fight & Old Age.  I feel you man.

All that I can tell you is this: All Dogs Do Go To Heaven.  Just pray to the saints to take care of your little buddy untill you have a chance to make it up there.
Me Personally, I pray for the saints period... That hound was always the Queen of the house, Took all the covers on the bed, & then most of the bed after that.  A True Pirate.  !*!rat3

Here's to all our Dogs who have preceeded us to those pearly Gates, Misti, Zuni, and everyone elses Little Buddies.  May the Saints take good care of'em, & their heavenly Bowls never run Dry or go Empty!
Peace
