For SBGs who watch "The Talk".....
« on: November 23, 2011, 07:28:16 AM »
The following is a video that I found through another forum. I found the entire discussion of this topic kinda disturbing but the part of it that really pissed me off was Sharon Osbourne's contribution to it.
I don't know about anybody else but this video has caused me to make a decision to walk out of any room where this miserable excuse for a woman appears on the television screen no matter where I am. And if questioned about my refusal to allow this repugnant worm even one second of voluntary time in my field of vision I will take the time to explain in detail that she is a fan of the mutilation of men.
I never watched "The Talk" or any of this other crap to begin with but in my house, no matter who wants to watch, "The Talk" will never be viewed on my television until after I am dead.
I would like to propose that SBGs boycott any television program that presents Sharon Osbourne under the guise of a human being who has an opinion that is anything more than intestinal gas. If any man made comments like this in the workplace that were directed at women they would undoubtedly be looking for work real quick. It says a lot about our country that a cling-on like Ozzie's wife, who has no noticeable talent of her own other than gabbing, is able to be paid to spew this kind of ignorance.
Of course, I may be wrong. Watch the video and make up your own mind.

Now here's the apology. I'm kinda NOT feelin' the love here.

There is commentary along with the video. I watched it because Krazie316 (you tube id) is clearly not feelin' the love either.

iI strikes me that I am focusing on Osbourne's contribution to the debate more than the rest of the panel. I think that they are all guilty of extreme sexism in this case as none of them ever told this GasBag to STFU!

Am I overreacting?

You are NOT over reacting. These shows where the panel is all women constantly beat on men. It's garbage and shame on the women that enjoy this crap.

As men, we need to boycott any of these types of media attacks. If 5 men were sitting around talking about a man mutilating a woman there would be no laughter.... and if there was, those men would be unemployed in record time.

Sharon Osbourne is an over plastic surgeried jack ass that's married to one of the world's biggest losers. Her own kids are both losers so she shouldn't be laughing at anyone else's misfortunes in life.

I swore off Elton John and the Dixie Chicks years ago for obnoxious comments and this loser woman is also on my list.

Holly Robinson looked appalled to me.... props for her.

And what a pitiful attempt at an apology. That was more of a "I need to keep my job so I'm doing this" apology.

No, the fact that you don't know who she is speaks volumes as to the advanced level of enlightenment you have attained.

I agree with you buddha.  They shouldn't be making fun of violence on a show like that.  I don't watch it but I thought the purpose of that show was to discuss issues, not encourage further violence and insanity.  And the apology was as bad as the original offense.  I'm sick of the double standards too.  Women can make comments about men but if men make comments about women it's distasteful and the man is investigated for possible violence.  We can have shows like the Image awards for black people but we can't have an awards show for only white people.

I'm all for any group of people getting together (like bald guys) and having a forum or award show to showcase that group but it has to be universal.  One group can't be allowed to band together while another group can't.  I have to clarify that by saying the showcase would have to be for a non-violent purpose.  We don't wan't a white or black supremist group gathering to further hatred of another group of people.
