How should I conserve my Gillette Fusion shaving cream? Is it okay to keep it in a cupboard in my room or will it just "go off" if you know what I mean? I'm mean how long can I keep a bottle that I've opened up and used in a cupboard before it becomes unusable?
I'm not making the best of sense, if you understand what I mean then please help me out

It all depends...can you trust your room mates? I keep mine in a cabinet...it lasts a very long time.

When you say lasts for 2 and a half weeks, do you mean it runs out of cream in that time? Or do you mean it becomes unusable?

I think what JDW means is what is the shelf life of shaving cream? If you're talking about an aerosol can, it should last for many years in storage. It isn't going to go bad before you use it up.

So there's a difference between shaving cream and whipping cream?
No wonder my head smells funny!

to my knowledge there is no expiration date on shaving cream. Besides if you shave every few days you should be going through cans pretty frequently.

In all seriousness, good stuff to know. Even though I use shave soap and brush, I keep a can in case of travel.
Now, concerning shelf life, is it the same for shave gel?

I'll buy several cans when my brand (cheap) is on sale and the last can seems as foamly as the first. Since almost all packaged bath supplies are ugly objects I keep everything in jars, tubes, cans, or bottles associated with the work at the vanity, but the bar of soap in use, in the cabinet or cupboard.

I used a can that was in the cupboard for over 4 years and it's still fine.

Just realised that I'm going to have to invest in a Headblade travel pack: 59ml bottles of slick, gloss, matte and shed.
Regular bottles are just too big and in any case, won't pass airport security.
Thankfully here in London, there's a headblade stockist between my work place and home. Sells everything for all your sly needs.
