Any benefits to Fusion Pro Glide P O W E R
« on: November 11, 2011, 10:31:19 AM »
ATTENTION AWESOME LOOKING BALD PEOPLE (yes that would be all of you) I have been using the Gilette Fusion Pro Glide for some time now with excellent results. Does anyone have any experience with the POWER varient? I  was wondering if anyone has had in real benefits over the "manual" razor.  :-\

I had a Fusion "Power" and I didn't find that it did anything more in the sense of closeness than the unpowered variety.  I moved on to the M5, and have since moved again to the Schick Hydro 5.  The SH5 is now my tool of choice.

I don't have the Power ProGlide, but I have used the Power Fusion. I wouldn't say that the Power v. Manual gave a closer shave, but I do think that the vibrations from the Power model helped the blades glide across my skin and resulted in less irritation (on my face). I use it on my head with next to no irritation as well.

I use the Fusion manual when I want a super close shave. I saw the "power" job on sale a few days ago and thought about it...I guess it has a little vibrator motor run off of triple A batteries. Am I correct?

I've used the Power before and it's no different than the regular razor.  My road is about the same as saintc's.  Started off with the power then moved on the the M5 (M5 was brutal on my head, you can tell why it's so much cheaper).  Now I'm using the Schick Hydro and it's by far the best razor I've used.

You are correct! Seems to last for a long time too - the battery that is.
