Halloween 2011

I haven't seen a thread for Halloween yet so I thought I'd start it.

I have a question....I am going to "use my head" :*)) for a costume this year and need to completely cover it with makeup. For those of you that have done this sort of thing in the past, are the any that you can recommend (or not recommend)? Would the stuff you buy in any major big box store work? Also any tips or tricks on applying it?

Also, anyone else dressing up this year?

it's not such a common celabration in Romania, fortunately :(
I guess your dome will look awesome with a shiny color on it:D

I had a thread in the other general section but it got pushed down. For painting the noggin I used the basic face paint a few years back when I was a blue man. The paint rubbed off onto everything but I kept a tube of paint on me just to do touch-ups. I hope someone has an easier way with the paint so I can use it next time.
 I was planning on using my hairstyle for a costume this year but cant think of anything good other than Elmer Fudd which I already have everything for I think. I might just stick a mask on and go like that. Last year I was Mr. Clean and a secret service guy, easy costumes

The blue man and Mr. Clean are a hoot...my woman wants to paint a smiley face on top of my head. Why not?

I have thought about being a pumpkin head also. Id paint the head orange with some darker lines but not sure if Id paint black around my eyes/nose/mouth or have someone paint it on the back

Back in the late '90s, when I first went sly, I went to a Halloween party dressed as "Backwards Man".  I had my sis use makeup on the back of my noggin and draw a face on it.  I then wore my clothes backwards.  While I am at it, I am changing my profile picture for Halloween to a non-sly Marsh from 1985!  So what do you think?
