I admit it freely. I am an iGeek. I LOVE APPLE!!!!! I think Steve Jobs was the Einstein of our century and even smarter than the original.
I have LOVED my iPhone 4 for about 1 year now, and my wife loves heres. THE MOST frustrating thing is when she forgets to email me an iCal event and then says "oh we have XXX to do tonight". Now with iCloud, when I take a picture, it goes to her phone and iPad, if I make an event, I can make it go automatically to her devices. When I pull out of my garage, my phone will REMIND me to pick something up, it's simply SO MUCH smarter than I am or ever will be.
Anyone else out there agree with me? Have you downloaded IOS 5? Who's getting the iPhone 4S? I wish I could butI am not eligible for upgrade until MAY!!!! I would use SIRI 24/7. DAMMIT. (sorry for the curse)

I bought a MacBook a couple years ago...the HD crapped out ($170)...the battery swelled up ($40) and the case is chipping away. I love it!

Apple, Linux, Windows, Web OS.
Got it all.
I like Linux best though.

i have used Mac's and apply products since the early 90's. Currently have an iMac using the latest software. I don't care for their newest iCloud venture however.

iCloud is free and optional. No one's forcing you to use it. Personally, I'm grooving on it so far. Remains to be seen if it will be more stable than beleaguered MobileMe.

I quite like iCloud so far. I dont know how effective it will be for me because my internet speed here is so slow. Less than 1mb download speed and something like 420mbps upload (I think I got that right). When I downloaded iOS5, the download itself took 4 hours, then when I updated my iPad with it, my iPad was completely wiped, so I had to restore it from a previous back up, but that didnt work properly either.
But I love Apple products, and I very much doubt I'd ever go back to using any other platform. I have a Windows laptop too and on the rare occasions I use it, its like using a kids toy.

Geez, I wonder how many gazillion people on this planet know that they are using a kid's toy.

I didnt say it IS a kids toy, I said it felt (to me) like I was using a kids toy. You may not agree with what I say but you'll defend my right to say it

Is there a way to subscribe to 'newsgroups' on Macs?
