Old Panasonic Linear Wet/Dry Discovery
« on: October 11, 2011, 11:23:31 AM »
All -

Been shaving the dome for about 4 months or so and have gotten alot of great tips here.

I pulled out my old Panasonic Linear Wet/Dry shaver (probably about 17 years old, never changed the foils).  You know what, after my routine, I finish off with it, and boy o boy is gets the little spots that get missed.  Amazing.  Smooth!!!

Here my routine....

Wash head (what ever the wife has in there, I'm sure it is expensive).
Apricot Scrub (Headshed is on order)
Apply Headslick
Shave with DE, then with cheap disposable in the shower, then a few more passes at the mirror.  When I don't shave in the shower, I treat myself to a hot brush shave.
***Finish off with Panasonic Linear Wet/Dry***

O

You have quite a routine there, Quantex...I'm sure it gives you fantastic results. I use a Panny along with cold steel, myself. The Panasonic, is the best!

0# I use some Witch Hazel and Aloe Vera or some SPF-30 for shine.

Apricot Scrub (Headshed is on order)

If you have a Walmart nearby you can get their "equate" brand. Cheaper and (IMO) just as good. I get the "medicated" (salicylic acid: the stuff we use for cleaning soldering irons.) variety. It actually makes my scalp feel good after a scrape.
