If I had colo(u)red my hair jet black at his age, I'd have also wanted to shave it off PDQ.

Does anyone think that it isn't obvious when a man dyes his hair?  When I had hair, it wasn't uniform in color.  That's the giveaway that it's dyed -the color is perfectly uniform.

An even bigger giveaway is that impossible shade of jet black that so many people seem to favor.

I don't get the fascination with jet black.  Few people I know or see have naturally jet black hair.  Maybe it isn't dye, but just shoe polish.

Well, if your hair was black to begin with, I suppose there aren't too many options.  You either try to dye the greys black so they blend in with the rest of the hair or change the all-over color completely to a lighter shade, like women do, which would be a drastic change and immediately obvious.

Nobody has jet black hair. Not even people with really really dark hair actually have black hair, its always very very dark brown that LOOKS dark enough to be black, but it isnt.

To me, any guy with jet black hair from a bottle looks like an Elvis impersonator.

I think the jet black shades are intended for people with darker complexions.  I don't think it would look as obvious on Asians or anybody with darker skin.  On white people it just emphasizes the paleness of the skin and looks fake.  On the other hand, it doesn't look too good with Wayne Newton's fake tan, either.   ???

Wayne Newton looks like a dick anyway, even if he didnt have jet black hair.

I think jet black coloured hair can look ok on some women, but never on a man. Eww. I think Vegas probably houses the biggest population of men with phoney black hair. They're everywhere you look, and they're usually pretty old with milky white skin

Well, what would you expect in Vegas - there's nothing natural there at all!  Atlantic City has its share of milky white / jet black guys too.

Don't forget that the brown shades tend to fade and oxidize and turn that funny rust orange color.

Yes - and imagine how that looks when you have the fake orange tan to go with it.  You'd look like a rusty nail!

BTW, he's 49 years old.  I just looked it up.  A bit of a shyster, too it seems:
