WHO was the 1st person in your "innner circle"?

who was the 1st person that 1st saw your new chrome dome after doing the deed 4 the very 1st time that was in your "inner circle" (i.e. spouse, parents, best friend, son, daughter, grandparents).  also share with us their reactions.

i'll start:  the 1st person in my inner circle that saw my smooth dome was my wife.  i wore a baseball cap prior to her seeing my new look.  when she saw me... i told her that i finally "did the deed".  she didn't believe me at 1st but when i took off my cap; she immediately  loved my new look.  since than, i have been getting head rubs from her daily.

so... how 'bout U?  who was the 1st person in your inner circle that saw your new shaved dome?  was it your spouse? parent?  kid?  gf?  bf? best friend?  grandparent?  what's your story?

It was my wife for me as well. She helped me document the process. While she was initially not in favor of it, over time she has come to like the look.

One memorable time after I shaved...I worked in a small village in Panama just a few miles from the Colombian border. Most of the people there now are refugees from the paramilitary/government massacres in Colombia. They love our projects, our solidarity and extended visits. I landed on the dirt air strip and of course the aircraft noise attracted many people and a lot of kids to see who was arriving to their jungle pueblo. I got out and was greeted by many kids I knew and their families. As I walked to the border patrol check point as usual the kids walked with me. They were unusually quiet and kind of distant. I kept trying to break the ice with kidding and jokes, but no deal. Finally I cornered one of the older girls and asked...she and some of the others began to cry...they thought I lost my hair because of cancer. It was sad for me too, but after I showed them my fat belly, beard and eye brows I convinced them...then it dawned on me how sweet it was that they really cared.

Very first time I shaved it, I was a bartender and did it (on a whim) just before work one day, so my boss, co-workers and regular customers all got the first look.

Funny story. I went away with my sister a few days after I started shaving my head that first time - and after the trip, she was showing pictures to my parents (I lived 1200 miles away from them) and my mom asked "who is that bald guy in all the pictures?" and my sister had to say "That's your son!".

Nobody has seen mine yet. My wife is away until Sunday and when she gets home, she will have a fit again, but I like it and I am going to keep it this way no matter what.

For me was the mother-in-law and she was at a loss for words and asked why.
Then my son saw it (2 years old) and he was confused/shocked.
It really was a fun day.

Well, I frankly don't remember "the" person.  I walked out of the house and went to work and saw people on the way to work, then the folks at work--all nice responses.  Wifey, well when she saw it she went a little off the deep end--but I'm the 24/7 guy so I stuck with it.  Wifey's friends gave me lots of compliments and rubs, so she's learned to accept if not embrace the idea.

it was my ex wife and kids. i ha some people say i was crazy and even some say , no uou didnt like mr.warhawk himself but it was a sense of freedom

the wife  she did it 'then the kids ,outside the house a  friend  who came to pickup my wife she was a lil shocked at 1st.
