When everyone in America is asleep, I dont have anyone to talk to (or annoy)
Sorry. I get up about 5:30 a.m. eastern ... does that help?
Some of us are due South ... past the Med. But these are working hours!
Greetings Saath Ifrika

Its working hours here too but I'm 'working from home'

You are wayyy past the Med. How are things in South Africa today.
I have a daughter in Durban, South Africa & Skype with her most every day I think y'all are 7 hours ahead of us here in the Midwest.
I stopped off at home early before heading out for an evening meeting ... so also tend to catch the forum during it's less busy times.
SA is good ... all eyes on NZ at the moment (this is a rugby-crazy nation) ... make that sport-crazy, we have the soccer world cup here last year. Spring has finally arrived - which is a welcome relief from our dry Winters, just waiting for the first rains.
@snakehandler - ever been to Durban? It's an interesting place. My old home town is on the coast north of Durban, and we'll be camping there as a family early next year (when my frozen siblings fly south looking for sunshine!!).
The number of Europeans in the forum is rising daily. I also come from the South.....South of Europe. Greetings from Spain, it's still summer here, went to the beach over the weekend and looking ahead for my next plunge on Saturday
South Africa is about the same time zone as continental Europe, I guess with the exception of winter in the Northern Hemisphere when we are 1 hour behind SA.
I have been to South Africa at least 7 or 8 times and always enjoy it. Lovely people, beautiful country, good food & weather...and for us it's quiet cheap.
I have travelled all over the country and looking forward for my next visit in 2012.....I will have two business associates from South Africa visiting me in Spain next week and in October.....
I'm hard to annoy, feel free to try it anyway.

Ich hoffe niemand argert dich

I hope nobody is trying to annoy you
