Im newly shaved..Trying to get rid of horshoe look in back

Hey fellas, Just wondering if there is anyway to make it look like im not going bald even after I shave? I have that horse shoe look in the back and it sucks. Also, is there a way to dull down the shine? Any info will be appreciated..ok thanks for the tips guys

I'm not sure there is any way to get rid of the shadow.  Even with a very close shave, I still have one.

As for dulling the gloss, HeadBlade makes a matte finish version of HeadLube, but I haven't tried it.  I actually like the shine, but that's a personal choice.

How pronounced the shadow is depends on your complexion and how dark your hair is.  Once your scalp gets some sun it should be less noticeable.  It's not possible to eliminate it entirely but the only people who are likely to notice it are other sly guys.  The general population doesn't tune into those things as much as we do.

You might want to reconsider toning down the shine, though.  I've found that the shadow and any blemishes, variations in skin tone, etc. are a lot less noticeable when the dome is shiny.

How can you not help looking bald......You are bald !!   Forget the shadow nothing but a laser job will do it. The shine, the product mentioned above may help .

I can still see the shadow even after a close shave. But most people don't. I've had people ask me if I have any hair & shave or am I cometely bald ? I ask them if they can see at all where the shadow of my hair is & they say no.

I'm fair skinned and dark haired, so it's easy to see that I shave my head.  That's okay with me - I like the look and feel of the shaved head.  I admire the look of guys who have no shadow, but I wouldn't give up on shaving my head just because I have a shadow.
