Shaving soaps

Since joining the sly world I've also gone a more traditional route with shaving supplies.  No more lather in a can...it's now a
mug and brush for a fresh creamy lather.   Since the humidity has gone up as summer has come on I've been on a search for a good strong menthol.  Tried a smaple set of the mentholated soaps from Mama Bear's - let me tell you, they're wonderful.   Make up a good strong lather that lasts and the menthol int he Iceberg Ice that I have tried the last 2 days in potent.  Feels great on a sticky morning.

I highly suggest givinng this vendor a try.

Here is the link to the sample packages she ahs available.  I found shipping charges to be realistic and service lightning fast.

I tried a brand named Van Der Hagen shave soap. I read about that in here a few years ago. WalMart used to carry them and I have also seen then at Walgreen's. They make a 40% moisturizer soap and also a glycerin soap which, in my opinion is THE bomb.
Van Der Hagen is made in the USA, as well, which made me feel better. I think it was the only thing WalMart sold that wasn't made in China.

Crabtree & Evelyn is the only stuff I'll use.  I use a Double Edge Safety razor on my face but I'm not brazen enough to try it on my head.

Lubes great and smells better!
