Have you seen the pics of body hair transplants
basically it looks like sewing pubic hair into your scalp.

The thing that sucks, is if it doesn't work well and the dude decides to try sly....he'll look like crap and he is totally stuck!
I've seen some similar botched jobs...VERY sad!

From what I've read, once the hair is transplanted to your scalp, it takes on the characteristics, texture, etc. of your scalp hair. I'm not buying, it though. Imagine what the ladies would think if they found out that you were wearing your scalp or pubic hair on your head.

This is a depleted donor-supply area after multiple transplant surgeries. This guy has to keep the hair on the back of his head long to cover up the huge bald strip that was created to transplant hair to the top of his head.
I never heard of this before, but it make sense that it can happen.

Damn RazorX, if I want to see a horror movie, I'll order some popcorn and Raisnets. You need to step away from wherever it is you're getting these pics.

So he traded one bald spot for another? That's less than smart.

Not that I ever thought about getting a hair transplant, but I can't believe I once considered myself part of a group that considers this a viable solution to hairloss. Seriously, now that my perspective has changed, these pictures make me physically sick, whereas they never did before.
And if you're balding to the point where you need to use body hair as well, no amount of transplants will ever cover up the thinning, and because of scarring, you might be eternally forcing yourself to keep your hair long and thin, to hide what it did to the scalp.
GROSS. I feel sorry for guys who feel they have to go through this to better their self-image. For the $10000 they spent on this, they could have bought themselves a headblade, a crapload of fashionable new clothes, and maybe a better-looking car (a used one). Guaranteed to make you look much younger than this god-awful surgery.

Oh my Ive never seen such a bad picture as that one with the extended donor strip, maybe we should post that on the HLT forum. Surely the surgeon woulnd be allowed to let it get that big? Also the patient is blantantly an idiot for doing that to himself

Holy Sh**, I did consider this at one time, for some reason on the highway within a 1/2 mile stretch there was about 4 billboards for these type of procedures...
My head had extra irritation on it from the "system" in the areas where the glue was put on constantly. After almost 2 weeks it is finally getting better..
Wish I stayed SLY this whole time!
If those pics don't deter people from getting plugs, I don't know what will.

Dude, I fell out laughing when I read this post. It's totally true though. Those pics are crazy. I think I threw up a little in my mouth on that last one.

Hey YOSP, it looks like from your pictures that the HCM and whatever else you did before embracing the sly side of life didn't damage your head... at least I hope not. Boy these pictures are like watching a train wreck... you don't want to look, but you can't turn away!

I just saw on HLT pics of a guy who used minox and his crown grew back fully(i.e. less of a bald spot) then he stopped using it and within so many months he had a mammoth bald spot. His hair became crisp and brittle!!!! That has gotta cause some serious long term side effects if it can do that
I cant believe that stuff, thankfully I knew the risk with that stuff and have never used it.
What kind of stuff does that? Does it create dependency on drugs so much so that when deprived the hairs die? and the hairs turn CRISP?
