How long will I have "whitehead"?

Ok, so it's ALMOST my 30 day mark. I go out about every other day and sit in my pool with dark tanning lotion on my melon hoping to tan it even with my face.   ....   ....  It's not happening! and I'm getting frustrated.

I'm sure it doesn't matter to anyone but me but it matters to me.  Darn my OCD!. 

How long will it look obvious that I am new to shaving my head?

It does take a while, it has to be said. The initial VERY white skin will colour-up pretty quickly, and will have done that by now I would imagine (unless you don't tan easily at all). I'd say after 2 months normally it's the same colour as the rest.

It will wear of pretty quickly. I don't have a really light skin (nor dark) but after about 2 months it was just the same colour as the rest of my skin.

You could try to 'cheat'  a bit by putting on some lotion with coloring effect.

This tinted moisturizer with sun protection has worked wonders for me.  I have used both tint 3 and 4.
