Shaved my head yesterday (bald by choice, I have very thick hair). I notice a lot of you guys recommend the headblade and their line of products - I'm happy with my razor, but not so much my shaving cream and other products. Can anybody recommend good products that I can find in a store like wal-mart or a walgreens for now? Also, I have a bit of a mole thats bumpy on my head - should I go around it or just finish lopping it off?

I like and recommend the HeadBlade line of products (HeadWash, HeadShed, HeadSlick), but they aren't available at all Walgreen's or CVS locations - at least not where I live.

Where I live, Phoenix AZ, you can find the Headblade and headslick in the Walgreens but not the lube or scrub. For that I go to Amazon. I shave with a Schick Hydro 5 and headslick and headlube. I also love the bald guys Line of products.

Welcome to the forum rzc. I would also suggest Walgreen's or CVS for the HeadBlade. Depending on where you live you may also check RiteAid or May's.
I think you'll see a big difference in ease of shaving once you try HeadSlick, it really is one of the best creams. Bald Guyz Clear shave gel is also one of the tops.
If you do choose to use the HeadBlade, be sure to follow the instructions and go slow. Once you get it down it's one of the best tools for shaving the dome. Let us know how it goes, and enjoy the shave.

Thanks for the advice, guys. Definitely like it so far (my mother, not so much) - its in the high 90's / low 100's here in Georgia. I just need to tan it a bit, I'm more pale than my red-headed wife.

Welcome. I am on board with the other members, Headslick or Bald Guyz gel is great. I personally prefer the Mach 3 as it gives a good close shave. The Fusion is great as well

Welcome!
HeadSlick can be had at WalGreen's but other HB products are not so easy to find locally.
I'm not sure if this discount code is still valid but if it is it will save you 20% if you order from their website.(look at the first entry by Tyler):

As for the mole I would leave that for the dermatologist.
As for the shaving cream you can get Head Slick at Walgreen's. I might also recommend stopping by Wal Mart and picking up a little bottle of Shave Secret shaving oil. Put a few drops on your wet dome and rub it in good before you apply the Head Slick. Great friction reducer.

I've also got a pretty large mole on the top of my head, had it ever since I can remember... Anyways, just go slow when you get to that area and don't force the blade if it doesn't want to go over. Try coming at it in different angles and you'll get the hair in that section shaved off after a couple passes. I've chopped the top of the mole off a couple of times, doesn't hurt at all theres essentially no feeling in it. However, you'll know when you hit it... they bleed like like nobody's business!
Bottom line, just take it slow and don't put to much pressure
especially if you're using a headblade. It's not a matter of if you'll nick... just a matter of when.
