New Guy - Hello

How's it going everyone.This is my second post after finding you today. I shaved my head for the first time ever yesterday.

My big 1st question is how soon should I shave again? I used my clippers and then Gilette Fusion (with an old blade) not the best idea. didn't get close really so I have what my wife says is sandpaper head.  She went out today and surprised me with a Headblade. And some industrial moisturizer with SPF 40 since we live in Phoenix.

I have a small mole on the back of my crown, and a small one at my temple/hairline I've wanted to get removed for years!

My question is, should I go back to Walgreen's and get the Headblade shave cream or will my gillette fusion gel work? 

Thanks for your help an I will work on my photo after my first GOOD shave.

Welcome, enjoy the freedom.  IMO, I really like Headslick, although I've used other stuff if I've had to for one reason or another.  I personally don't use the headblade, just doesn't work for me.  My weapon of choice is the Personna M5, and when I'm out of blades for that I go to my backup Fusion.  Experiment, find out what works best for you.  And the sunscreen is a good idea, no matter where you reside.

Thanks. I have a goatee and normally grow out a full beard in the winter. I told my wife about growing it out again this year and she screamed NO!!! it'll look dumb, I showed her your picture and she said "Hm...maybe not" and winked. LOL

The big test will be going out in public for the first time. I do plan on sticking to the 30 day rule.

Ok, thanks guy's. a bit about me.

I am 42 and live in Phoenix Arizona. I am a retired pastor and disabled with primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis. I also have a nic name of Gimpy so you will see me once in a while use that name.

I use a wheelchair or walker to get around, on really good days I use fore-arm crutches.  That's rare. 

I am an avid baseball fan and loyal fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks. I am very loyal to products and people that treat me well. 

It's good to be here. my main question is, since I shaved 22 hours ago with a bad razor can I shave again today? I have some razor burn but mostly I have "sandpaper head" as my wife says.

If you haven't tried anything yet, try an after shave balm, I like Nivea Extreme, but there are several good brands out there.  You will find yourself looking at shaving supplies more than ever now .  Shave when you like, but use a new razor, a good one.

I will shave twice in a day sometimes if Im going out for the evening etc

  you look younger and mad..thats great ! it would be great to get less and I gain weight..
