End of May I went riding in France with a bunch of guys I'd met through a forum.
2150 miles in 8 days.
Fantastic scenery.
New people.
Places I'd never seen before and may never see again.
All done on a Triumph Daytona 955

Riding a bike gives you a viewpoint and experience that you'll never get in a car.

Must have been a great experience Dave! That's a lot of miles for 8 days.

Hey Stumpydave,

Sounds like an absolute blast.  Sport touring is where it's at.   Like you said.... Experiences and perspectives you'll never get driving.

I have an 06 Triumph Sprint ST -- and that means.......  mines bigger than yours is  ^-^

Triumph is sure building some great product nowadays.  I'm thinking I'd love the new Street Triple to goof around on or the new Tiger just because it's so cool.

6 of the guys I rode with had Tigers, 1 Sprint ST, 1 T595 Daytona and my 955i.
Everyone had a blast and thought their bike was the best.
Got a few pictures online:

Cool pics, I am so jealous.   We've had a very cold wet spring here in Calgary, Canada.   I think I've forgotten how to ride.

Stumpy - Great pics!! Sounds like an awesome trip.

Pshrynk- I agree with the new Triumphs, I have been drooling ver the Daytona and the Thruxton for some time.

Hey Marz,

Oh yeah I almost forgot the Thruxton!!

Way cool retro cafe design.  Have to be pretty flexible on longer rides though I think.

I also love the look of the Scrambler with those high pipes.  Has that enduro look from the 70's that I drooled over as a kid.
