In doing this searching I found a forum in which its various members were commenting on SBG on this forum. To many of the posters. many of us on this forum look like criminals.
Hi Intex - here is a link to a thread that explains it - http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=3939.0Good reason. How much has it caught on outside of this forum? The problem for us is that head shaving is becoming more mainstream - erasing a key reason for many of us.
I don't think the term "Sly" for head shaving has caught on much outside of those that have visited the forum. Google finds us though
Intex, you have done your research When I started SBG in 2006, head shaving wasn't so mainstream. In the last couple years it has become more and more mainstream. I'd like to believe that SBG has influenced that through the power of numbers and through educating people. We are ranked very high in Google when a person searches the term "bald" and that sends us tens of thousands of people a month. Though, unfortunately for you that's going to mean that it's less rogue to shave your head. You might have to get a tattoo on your head to keep a shaved head and still be rogue As for AF1, I have a friend that has connections with AF1 and was able to get me a tour.I periodically search on google for shaved heads. You are correct SBG most often comes up as first option. When I go to mall or to large supermarket I usually see some guys with shaved heads. Neighbor across street has shaved head. So does one of my sons. When it is considered mainstream you will see Gillette advertising on TV for their fusion proglide for head shaving. That hasn't happened yet. At moment I would draw line on getting a head tattoo. However would consider getting a full body tat.
