I'm disappointed that the Bulls didn't make it...but now that the match up is set...

Who do you think will win the 2011 NBA Finals Championship and why?  How many games will the series go?

Poll expires the day The Finals start...

I voted for Dallas...just because I can't stand Lebron and believe Dirk deserves it more.

I think it will go 7 games with referee influence to keep NBA revenue going.

I'm also from Cleveland originally and will definitely be pulling for the Mavs! However, I think even if I wasn't from Cleveland, I'd be pulling for the mavs just as an NBA fan. Really upsetting seeing players colluding like what happened last summer. Go Mavs!!

I hate to be the dissenting member of the forum here but I have not watched an NBA game since the strike in the 90s. I was a major Bulls fan back then having been born in Chicago and living in Waukegan while the streak was in progress. But when I heard Scotty Pippen say in a news broadcast that they were going on strike for "better working conditions" I lost it. He was the guy who earned the nickname "no tippin' Pippen" because he was notorious for not tipping waitresses in restaurants.
If the NFL lockout happens I'll probably stop watching that, too.
I can't remember the last time I heard a pro athlete say that he played his sport just because he loves to play it. They're all businessmen now, they have agents and law firms and it just took the love out of it for me.
Sorry. I know I'm gonna get beat up over this. Pull no punches, boys, I've got it coming.

No punches here buddha, that's why I stopped watching baseball years ago! As much as I love football, I might stop watching as well. Give me my Hockey!   ;)
