Day 6 of forever
« on: May 25, 2011, 09:59:37 AM »
Hey guys,

I've been lurking around for months. Kinda soaking up info from every post I could. I've had the dreaded rat syndrome for years now. At 39 years old, I finally had enough and stumbled across this site. The posts really helped, plus I stalked PDXTODD a few times for encouragement. (Thanks Todd)

It's probably been the best experience I've had in a long time! I took a long weekend and clippered my hair then hit the shower with headslick and a fusion. Everyone was right. It really is a non-issue once you do it. I spent the 3 day weekend getting a little sun each day. Now I've been back t work for 2 days now and everyone has been positive. My wife loves it, daughter could care less, and so far friends and family are ok with it. As for myself I LOVE IT. I'm slowly getting used to my reflection. Now I just need a little more sun to even out the tan.

I'm not a huge fan of posting on forums, but wanted you guys to know you're doing an awesome job here! I'm happy to be a part of SBG.

Way to go. I ditched mine and feel great. I am having a hard time getting the colors to match. I hope a little sun will help things along in the next few weeks.

Congrats on shaving and welcome to SBG!!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Welcome and enjoy the new freedom!  O0
The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the Past better than it was,
the Present worse than it is & the future less resolved than it will be.
