Great to find this website and forum!
Always been a big guy including high school with a full head of hair. Thought I had a good shaped melon so I would shave it off whether it was football, wrestling, or just because I felt like it. Both of my grandfather's were bald, and my dad has been doing the comb-over for years and I knew I would never resort to something crazy like that.
Since my senior year in high school I would always keep my hair buzzed short, nothing longer than a 2 for long.
Played rugby for several years after college on a social team and would keep my head buzzed short but didn't actually shave it. Those scrums can be real tough on your head, and I didn't wear a scrum cap.
Now that i'm 34 years old my hair is definitely thinning on top. I don't really care that im thinning since I knew at a young age it was probably going to happen sooner than later... But the important thing is that I want my head to look good.
Found this site by searching for BaldGuyz shaving gel and wondering why I couldn't find it at CVS. I guess i'll be going to Walgreens now.
In the past year I have been shaving my head with a razor some using some shaving cream or other gel but my head would get irritated and knew there had to be something out there i'm missing. Glad I was able to find the gel that works for me.
I've been reading a lot of posts and there are lots of guys out there that losing their hair can be a traumatic experience. Don't sweat it, if someone actually cares whether or not you have hair there are bigger and more important things to worry about in life. Accept it and find what works for you.
