New to bald!
« on: May 11, 2011, 07:43:36 AM »
Hello all!

I've just got my hair chopped off! It was long and in a pony-tail (which I loved) but seriously balding on the top... wasn't the best look, so figured (after about 4 years delaying) to go for the bald look! It's been a whole 24 hours so far... still not sure how I feel about it. Time will tell...

I'll post a photo or two in a couple of days.

Really glad Sly Bald Guys exists!

Chris

Be relaxed about it!! The dramatic change is on the outside, but you'll be amazed at how broad and diverse the change becomes in less obvious, but important, ways as well. Take it a step at a time.

Welcome, and it sounds like you made the right decision--holding on to a hair style when you can't pull it off anymore can really be detrimental to your appearance.  So, the "hair time" of your life is over, enjoy the Sly Time--it will "grow" >:D on you.

Welcome!  You're in the right place for info and encouragement.  No matter how much hair you got in the back, that MPB will keep on creepin' won't it?  No matter how many time I've tried to grow it back, the MPB doesn't get any better.  I think I've finally learned my lesson and I'm gonna keep it sly.

Welcome Chris, you made the right decision. There's a time when men have to realize their hair is just not looking as good as it did when they were in their younger years. Way to go.
