Every day, except when I've gotten a late one--around noon--on Saturday after doing the gym and yard. Then I will slack for Sunday, but that's pretty much it. I guess it's a "Pavlov's dog" response--a clean smooth head feels so good right after shaving it's a reward in itself for what little efforts involved.

Usually every 3 to 5 days for me. I don't mind a little head fuzz.

I'd love to shave every morning, it's the only chance if you can't stand a sandpaper like feeling, but most of the weekdays time is against me in the morning, so I would say I shave every other day with some exceptions where i do it daily
Apart from the stubble it's the look, I have dark hair which is not good for the shadow which I absolutely dislike.
Normally when I shave my head I also shave my face but if I don't I'm fine with stubble in my face.
I have read some posts in the forum where people seem to shave in the afternoon/evening or at least later in the morning, not right after getting up, and that by doing so they are stubble free for a longer time. Can anyone explain this to me? Is there any scientific or other evidence to support this?
Thanks

I'm new to this, but I shave around 0500 (slick and smooth). Around 1000, it feels like fine grit sandpaper. Is this normal? I wish the slick feel would last at least 12 hours.

How long you stay smooth depends on how you shave and your hair's natural growth rate. I shave at 6:00 AM with a Panasonic electric followed by a Gillette Fusion and I usually feel smooth until about 2:00 PM when the fine grit feeling starts to emerge on top. Prior to switching to the Fusion, I was using a HeadBlade with triple blade cartridges and the grit began to start earlier, say around 11:00.
I think we'd all like to keep the slick feel longer!

I mainly shave my head every second day because of my skin is a bit sensitive, but it also reduces some tearing of blades, and that's nice for a poor student.

I usually run the clippers every day to keep what remains of my hair the same length. At the moment, it's fuzzed to 'no guard'. (i.e. very short). Youngest daughter says "That's not right!". But I like it. Looks almost bald. At this length, I need to buzz daily.
Just takes a moment before the shower in the morning.

As a bald guy, would you be surprised if you asked a man with hair if he washes and combs it every day and he answered yes? Yet people seem utterly amazed when a bald guy says he shaves every day. It's such a funny reaction!

I've been shaving everyday to keep it nice and smooth. If I do happen to miss a day it's really got alot of growth and uncomfortable.
