Went sly 2 months ago (lazy sly since I shave every 2-3 days - due to irritation in neck).
This site has been a great resource for me.
It has been a great experience so far except I get asked why I shave the head at least 5 times a day.  This is because of my job (seeing about 15-20 patients a day who saw me with hair on there last visit).  Anyways, my answer at this point is simply to say "I felt like it" and chuckle.  I am an oncologist so a lot of the patients I see are bald and they seem to appreciate the sly look.

I have read most of them.
It is really quite a mild irritation and have been using headclear.
I am in no rush and hope to make a daily routine in the next couple months as the head gets used to it.

Welcome. I also have a fair bit of "public" interaction, although more often with groups than individuals - and I've discovered that in groups people tend to be polite and say nothing. I have been rather touched by the approach of people who've had/are dealing with cancer. Continue to enjoy the forum.
