people putting their insecurties on me
« on: April 30, 2011, 10:20:14 PM »
i recently buzzed my hair really short and loved it and still got the same attention from the chicks :@`

but i have grown it back because..

one friend told me a horror story about how he shaved and everyone called him a cancer patient till it grew back, now
he keeps bothering me about it and people are noticing it.

i tried talking to him but he wont stop, he thinks its funny.   i am fit and he is pretty heavy but i dnt want to do what he is doing to me and call him fat or should i? :-[

Don't stoop to his level.

Decide for yourself what is more important: what he thinks, or what you think?

If he's not a complete moron he'll stop after some time when you ignore it consequently.

Agreed.  You have to do what makes you happy. If you want to wear a crewcut or have a shaved head then do it. Don't let the naysayers get to you or talk you out of what you want to achieve. If you let them get to you, your path in life can get pretty limited. At the same time don't be a naysayer yourself! A buddy of mine would use to say similar things when i started buzzing my head or would comment on my gray hair. I didn't let it get to me...i just did what i wanted and then went slick. Eventually, my buddy's hair started to thin and he eventually took the path of sly too. So my best bud and me are happy and slick.
