Took the plunge

Today is day 1 of being Sly.... just finished shaving it off.... and I like it... don't like the white areas, and a few bumps and cuts, but otherwise...pretty happy.

Jergen's Natural Glow - it's a selftanner and irt DOESN"T turn you orange = will do a good job helping to blend in the scalp with the rest of your head.  It will not hide the shadow but it will tan your sking up a bit so the shadow will be less apparent.  Just remember it is NOT a sunblock so you'll still need to be cautious when outside for awhile - a sunburn on a bald head is very unpleasant.

The bumps and cuts are just part of the learnung curve - and a reminder to you not to put pressure on your razor. It's all in the prep and lather...then just let the razor do the work

Welcome Mike!  I shaved over 5 weeks ago and mow my lawn with no sunscreen on my head and it is looking pretty good on the sides and top but the back still needs some work as far as color goes.  Anyway, don't over do it without the sunscreen, if you're going to be out for more than an hour, use the sunscreen!   O0
