Hey Everyone, Decided to become a member after about three months of lurking. I am turning 23 years old this year and i noticed my hairline started to receed. I didn't think much of it and it honestly doesn't look that bad right now. But it started to eat at me. I would always look in car windows and it would just bug me so I am deciding to shave with no guard today and then maybe go completely sly.
The only things that bother me is that I am still young and my head is pretty small but w.e. its just hair right?

Welcome.
It's only hair! It grows back. A hairstyle is just a hairstyle. Mix it up, try different things, see what you're comfortable with. It's quite normal to wonder how things will look without hair, it can also take some getting used to. You've probably found enough advice here to give you an idea of what you want to do. Don't be shy, take the plunge ... and post a pic.

As banmuir said, it'll grow back. If you don't like being sly, just stop shaving and wait for it to grow back. I'm betting you'll like the sly look.

Short is one thing, sly is a whole new world. When you're feeling comfortable with your new haircut then take it the last step - it doesn't take long to get it back to where you are now if you change your mind. Enjoy. -

Looks good. You've done the right thing. Being proactive is infinitely better than watching your hair fall out little by little. Shaving it all off is what all of us should do in the early stages, but most of us don't. Congratulations on figuring things out faster than most of the rest of us.
