So I read a lot here..many articles...so the shadow is here to stay huh..I did everything, all razors..all techniques...all tanning products, its like its resistant..lol,If Im correct its the hair underneath showing,so darking the scalp, the less you should it yes ? well I spent $$ on tanning,im dark as hell....shadow still strong...spray on tans seems to make it more dark, and I sweat far to much to use spray tans...so did I miss anything ? or any tips I did not try,and its not my shaving routine, once the head is smooth..nothing else hides skin color..thanks guys !
Shadow is as shadow does. The only "genuine" solution is to have your hair turn white (should you BE "white"), and for many that's years off, if ever--that is, your hair giving up its color, not your skin. It's thus an advantage for MPB blacks that their shadow is going to be less of a problem than for lighter-skinned, yet still dark-haired others. This might be one reason so many dark-skinned men shave their heads to such good effect. My own hair's melanin crapped out years ago. Lucky me!
i'm happy the shadow blends in some of my head because of my skin tone.
shadow help anyone ? no tanners work..no blades..sharp or not..no shaving method...can you have the shadow hair removed ? laser ? etc...anything ??
sure give me like day or 2...self tanners seems to male shadow darker..the real sun will prob be best bet..has anyone ever removed hair from crown ? with any products etc...
Beyond your hair going white or you spending countless hours plucking your hair there's not much you can do. I suppose you could always do laser treatment on your scalp to kill all the hair on your head, but I've never looked to far into that. A shadow is just kind of one of the things you come to live with being bald. You get used to it after a while and while it may seem annoying, since hey you shaved your head to get rid of the horse shoe right? It'll always look better than having it grown out.
