Inside Nature's Giants
« on: April 13, 2011, 04:53:12 PM »
I stumbled across an interesting BBC show that happens to be on YouTube. It is a show about dissections/post-mortums of large animals. The YouTube link includes shows for an elephant, a whale, a crocodile, a giraffe, giant squid, python, etc. It is not for the squeamish or faint of heart. If you can stomach it, they are fascinating to watch.

This show is heavy on the evolution side (well, completely on the evolution side) of the evolution vs. intelligent design(er) debate. I am not posting this in support of or in opposition of either theory. I just thought it was fascinating and so I thought I would pass it along.

Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.
