Hey guys I just wanted to try to share my story really quick.....

Balding has been getting me down for the past two years and being a young guy you don't even want to know the possible solutions I considered. I was totally convinced I had horrible head shape and was too scared to shave my head anything past a number 2. This problem was like consuming my life. I got sick of worrying about it and sick of seeing my hair fall out so the other night I just said screw it and took a no guard to my head. I did not bic it but I mean I am pretty much there. I was so pleased with my head shape. It is by no means a great looking head or really nice and round but I think its passable and I am happy with it. I feel so worry free now like I can get on with my life and I just wanted to thank all you guys on the forum. I have been a lurker for a while and you guys really helped get me to were I am at and I soon plan to bic it too. I would really like to post some pics but it says the pictures are too large every time I attach them. I guess you can see my avatar.

Hey Travs89,  The head shape looks good to me.  I know it's a big step but once you do it, you'll be glad that you did!  Try cropping your pics before you attach them, that should work.  Hope to see a new Sly pic of you soon!

I think we're so used to mucking around with what we can do with hair, that we forget what variety of fairly run-of-the-mill headshapes are lurking under cover all around us. So we think we're unique and there's nothing else as "weird" as our own headshape!

If your image software will let you change the dpi setting, then set it to 96 (rather than 300 or 600). Makes for a much smaller file, and the image displays ok (printing the reduced image will be another matter!).

Travs89, welcome to the forum...the BEST bald forum on the Internet, that is!    Regarding your plight to the land of slydom, most of us have also been there, done that, and got the t-shirt.  Now you too can throw away that t-shirt and all those mental weights that were getting you down, and enjoy the new you, and the new life that you now have
