can't stand hair?
« on: April 08, 2011, 08:12:36 AM »
over the last couple of months I have tried
to grow hair back but have found that
after a couple weeks of letting head hair grow
I find myself wanting/needing to shave my head again.
so after some thinking about it I have decided that
I am going to remain bald permanently ,I like the shaved
head better than hair

It does seem to get to that point - we get used to not having to wash it, comb it, brush it, get it cut or just deal wiith it in any way.  Not to mention the feeling of the sun, the wind, the air and the occasional head rub...

Noodle's caricature of me below says it all! A guard-less buzz is the longest hair I can stand -- but I spend the vast majority of my time smoothly sly.

I've got a couple of irritated spots that don;t seem to want to go away so I'm giving things a few days to settle down and heal up.

Last shave was Wednesday and I'm not at all happy with how it feels.  I want it SLICK AND SHINY NOW but understand the need to let things calm down.  Break seems to be working, spots are visibly smaller and a lighter shade.
Plans to go out with friends tomorrow so about another 30 hours to go....

Now, at the 2 month point, I've had a slight curiosity about how it would look grown back in....2 days of velcro have cured me of that.

with me it is the MPB that also makes me
want to stay bald,I do not like
the idea of a hairry toilet seat on my head

I'm with Bear on this one.  Had some money issues this past week so had to be bladeless that whole time.  Ended up with a layer thick velvet on my head that I couldn't wait to get rid of.  I got paid yesterday, and bought some more blades and shaved this morning - shiny, smooth, and feeling more like myself!  :@`

I make sure when pay day rolls around, that I have two things that have to be purchased, razors and coffee.

1) Nub free days full of shine, makes my day.
2) Plenty of coffee.
