Treated myself to a traditional wetshave and headshave at The Art of Shaving yesterday. A little pricey, but they did an amazing job, my skin feels & looks good plus it was relaxing & enjoyable.

Hi Marty, the service I got cost $55 plus a tip, but frankly it was worth it. They spent almost an hour with me and I looked great at the end of the session. Something I wouldn't do every day, but once in a while, it is nice to splurge. Check out their website
www.theartofshaving.com for the services of their spa and locations. Their product line is good, and no more pricey than any other high end grooming line.

you're costing me money! The beard goes away in a few weeks and I just made an appointment at a local version of the Art of Shaving to get the first shave done. Going for the full face and head.....seems to be a great way to celebrate the return of warm weather.

Sorry dude, but it is fun to splurge every now and then. The Mr. Clean, "in training" look seems to suit me well. If you make it to D.C., I'd be glad to buy you a drink to christen being totally clean shaven!!

I'm going to try Gent's Barber Salon in Cranston. My other option was the train into Boston, that seemed a bit excessive.
Crafty - just looked at where you're from .....been in Fitchburg a few times at the Trade Center with the dogs. Nice area.

Mike, I enjoyed being pampered immensely and they do a good job of that.
I have also treated myself with them when I spoke at a business conference in Vegas about a year back. I definitely wanted to put my best foot forward.

DC trip? Maybe in the fall when it's cooler down there. For the warming weather - I live a block off the beach and the sailboat goes in shortly. Not a diver but I hear there are some great dive spots a few miles from here around the rocky sections off Jamestown and Newport etc

Just double-checked - the one in Natick is store-only.

You live in a wonderful area and I may need to take a road trip this summer to get away from the heat and humidity. Have always wanted to go diving in your neck of the woods. Let's see how things pan out. There was talk of going on a dive trip to the 1000 Islands area, but New England Ocean diving would be as much, if not more fun. Have dry suit, will travel.

Not a diver either, but if you're up that way, go out to Block Island. We've gone there for vacation for years - great beaches, good roads for biking, etc. Lives up to it's reputation as the Bermuda of the North.
