  • Into my 6th year...why did I ever have hair???
If you're on the fence please don't respond, I'll be posting a separate poll for you guys.

If you respond to this "before"poll make you sure you also complete the one about the response after you went sly.

My only concern was how my partner would react.

He still doesn't care for it (he prefers a close buzz to sly), but knows it makes me happy, so he deals with it.

I was more concerned about changing the way I looked although I knew the combover was a loser from the starting gate, a bald head--it was something that looked okay on other guys, but what about me.  I even toyed with the photoshopping consideration.  Finally, I buzzed and that went shorter & shorter.  It's a big move, but only for ourselves because as the overwhelming majority have found, not that many other people, except family and close friends even notice, much less care.

I didn't have any concerns. My life, my head...... and I knew it would look better than the horseshoe I was sorting at the time.

I was more concerned with how my head would look. I really didn't care what others thought since it's my head.  :)

family for me, iam the first and only person in my family that has ever shaved their head, mpb runs in my family, but all it took was the look of one bad toupee, that made me decide that on the first trace of hair loss i would just shave my head
