Hello, thinking about it despite full head of hair
« on: February 27, 2011, 11:12:08 PM »
I am 18 and in my first year of college, my hair currently like it is in my picture.  I have always wanted to go sly but never got the courage, i had a #0 over the summer though.  I am worried what girls might think of me going sly in college, since they typically like hair on guys.  I am not balding, just wanting to shave it all off LOL.  What do you guys think?  Could I pull it off?

It's college -- it's time to mess around and try things out.  If you don't like it (which I doubt), it'll grow out to a short buzz in a week or so.  GO FOR IT.

I agree with sailor61.  If you really want to do it, there's no reason why you shouldn't.  You have more freedom now to experiment with your appearance than you'll ever have at any other point in your life.  If you've been down as short as a zero buzz before, then it's pretty much a risk-free proposition.  It will only take a few days to grow out to that length. Go for it.

Thanks guys, I might do it when it gets a little warmer out!

Welcome!  I would have nearly a full head of hair, just a bit of receding at the temples.  I say go for it, the feeling of a hairless head is so awesome!!  Sly is in and always will be.  O0
