Then an unexpected surprise came to light at work, and we are now in legal proceedings. The next two weekends are also back-to-back meetings.
Yeah, the surprise may surprise you, there are a lot of us, the Sly Lawyers!

It really doesn't pay to overthink things.  If you do, you'll always find reasons not to do it.  Just do it and live with the consequences.  It's not nearly as a big a deal to the rest of the world as you may think it is.

What Razor said! I cant put it any better

Same here, and Welcome to the forum.

Welcome banmuir.  Those solutions solve only one thing ... the amount of cash in your wallet !!

Banmuir, welcome to the best bald forum on the Internet  O0
Ditto, what the others said.  ;)
It's amazing how little people notice about others.  If you've been buzzing and go to shaving, hardly anyone will notice.  Someone might actually say you look more "clean cut" or something like that (maybe look younger) and then ask what you did.   ::)  It's like the times you've seen a guy with a moustache and he shaves it off.  Most people don't notice, but they know something looks different and he looks younger, or something.  Just go for it and enjoy your new you!!  8)

As you can see - the deed is done (4 days back).

In spite of my nervousness about reactions, people mostly took it in their stride. Some curiosity, some hesitation, some interesting conversations, and slowly people are becoming a little more free in their comments ... all positive ... some extremely positive (some teasing, of course)  :/O.

Some of our suppliers have shaved heads, and that has provoked interesting conversation between us. We had a group of guys working on a piece of equipment yesterday, all had shaved heads, it was a funny moment when the realisation dawned!

Although I was personally tense about making the change, I find it hard to believe how de-stressing the change has been (especially given the difficult work circumstances at the moment). 26 days, and more, to go - and I look forward to them all.

That's how easy it is ban, it's pretty much a non-issue. We worry about it way too much until it's done, and then the feeling hits and it's amazing. Enjoy the new found freedom, and less stress too.  O0

Exactly.  I thought for sure my co-workers would make a huge deal out of it the first time I shaved.  I was amazed at how nonchalant most people were.  Pretty much everybody who's ever shaved his head has had the same experience.
