if you're comfortable doing it, get a hand mirror and do it in the shower while you shower, the steam makes the stubble come off MUCH easier and your skin stays more moisturized for less irritation.

also just take it slow, don't try and go too fast the first time with it.

I'm right handed and have no problems with that side of my head.  Trouble begins when I need to switch to my left hand  - I just don't have the same level of fine control with that hand.

So advice-wise;  take it slow in the beginning but be even more careful when using your non-dominant hand.

Also, based on my initial experiences, have a regular razor at hand. If you begin to get frustrated switch back to what you've used before.  One good gash with the HB and you're apt to blow your confidence with it - I think that's a large part of why I'm still on the  learning curve, not only do I need to master the HB I also need ot get past concern with making another gouge.

The Headslick is great stuff and it's even better with a few drops of Shave Secret or similar shaving oil rubbed into your scalp before the 'Slick.

Just used it for the first time, was awkward at first but once i got the hang of it i had no issue practically whipping it across my head with reckless abandon, i just followed a very key rule and kept pressure off od the blade apllying pressure on the wheels and letting it glide across my scalp.

This is how simple it is, but some guys just don't get it. Excellent choice using the HeadBlade, keep it up!   O0

Welcome, you have got the right idea , take it slow, avoid all pressure on the front end, and use a good shaving gell and oil, once again welcome O0 O0 O0
