My head seems to really like dimethicone. Totally random discovery but the dimethicone lotion I have is non-greasy but still keeps everything soft but not too shiny. As my shadow becomes less noticeable I'm more comfortable w/ a more matte look.
Powder works well also--baby powder is fine, and won't make you look ghostly if applied sparingly. Though you can find a lot of sunblock included, anti-acne, anti-spot, more luxurious powder options in the makeup aisles if you dare.
To reduce the shine I'm using a sebum-normalizer (don't know how to call it exactly in english
) made by Filgi, it's hydrating and make my head look "satin" for hours. It's a little bit expensive but I don't use it every day.
The Matte for Men lotion is Paraben free
