Quite possibly the most stupid thing I've ever heard of

It's really hard to believe that anyone would be stupid and reckless enough to try something like this:

Yeah, that is wild.  It is amazing the lengths people go to look good for others eyes or to make themselves feel better.  I know that everyone does it to an extent, but this procedure, along with other plastic surgeries is just wild.

Whenever I read this stuff I just think of the famous Carl Sagan quote and picture "Pale Blue Dot."  Check it out here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pale_Blue_Dot

In the grand scheme of things, our personal existence is so incredibly non-significant that it is almost insane to worry about how our bodies look to the extent of altering them via surgery.  I don't mean that in a depressing way, I just mean there are so many more worthwhile things to do than worry about our hair, boobs, butt, etc.

Live, learn, and love.  There is a lot of wisdom in those three words and I am not even a hippy  :)

I believe that this is what is referred to as "The Darwin Effect".

Simply amazing the "warning signs" disregarded by some, when it comes to (what they see as) "bargain" cosmetic enhancement surgery!! They have their mind so focused on the "fantasy end result" that the reality of the serious risks involved doesn't even come into play!!

Anyone remember the "cat woman" who was in the news some time ago? - the woman that was addicted to an "endless amount of facial plastic surgery"? Despite her botched results, she was in the news again recently because she now is trying to get her teen daughter onto the same diasterous path! I remember seeing a "before" picure of this woman, on some show about "plastic surgery nightmares" on the "E" network sometime back. They showed a picture of this woman in her early 20's, BEFORE any plastic surgeon ever laid a finger on her! This was one heck of a gorgeous woman! Makes you kinda' wonder what goes through people's minds when they are on a self destructive path, such as this! I would imagine, that upon seeing unfavorable results from plastic surgery #1, they keep getting procedures done to correct the surgery mishaps from the previous one, but the bad results just keep coming...

- Cap'n Noodles -

Another case in point that's in the news today ---> The latest congressman scandal and his "Craig's list adventure"!
I think in cases such as these a judge ought to be granted permission to bang the gavel on more than just his bench!! (LOL)

                b*n!

That congressional thing makes me chuckle. On the other hand I wonder if he can throw a football. I hear the Vikings are in the market for a QB.
Oh yeah, just another day of scumbaggery from DC. No surprises there.
