Does being bald affect chances of getting a job?

• I was wondering this. I don't know why, but do you think an employer would not want to hire a bald guy, for whatever reason? Or maybe a bald guy would stand out more and be more memorable after an interview, if he performed well with the interview questions.
  
  Can anyone here share their experiences with getting a job when their interviewer saw them bald?

• I got one, frankly the follicle style is a non-issue.  What matters is experience and knowledge of subject matter, ability to express yourself clearly, and dressing appropriately for the position.  Hair, or the lack thereof isn't an issue, really.

• It sure does  - -I hire bald guys whenver one applies for a job
  
  Bald guys make a nice clean neat appearance  - -and that is what I need in my business (working with the public)
