best product for the ultimate shine
« on: January 28, 2011, 06:34:18 PM »
following my recent post on what were the best products for a shiny dome, , i think i have found the ultimate shine product, having tried headblade glossy, and not being impressed; bold guys moisturizer, which is good, but not widely available in the  UK, and anything else that could possibly produce a good shine, i bought a product called DR ORGANICS, ORGANIC DOUBLE STRENTH ALOE VERA GELL, its 100per cent organic and gives a superb shine, its widely available in the uk in most health shops and costs about 5,99 fot 200 mls. THIS IS A SUPERB PRODUCT, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED, TRY IT :@` :@` :@`

Will have to do an internet search to see if "The Good Doctor" is available here in the US market!!

Sounds like a great 'weapon' to add to my collection!!
(LOL- my shaving collection is starting to be worth more than my house...)

... But WORTH EVERY LAST CENT!!

Thanks for sharing the info, Gardner!! I will be on the lookout and spread the word should I find it!!

UPDATE:   Did a quick google and I found "Dr O's" products here:
                                      http://www.drorganic.co.uk/aloe-products.asp

Haven't had a chance to dig deep with my "google shovel", but it might only be available through the "Dr O" web site. Some of these overseas companies (like King of Shaves) have a US warehouse from which they ship orders to their US customers.

noodles, i promise you, you will not be dissapointed, this product gives a stunning shine that lasts all day long, its thicker than the normal aloe vera, it stops irritation, you do not need to keep it in the fridge, just apply a small dollop to the freshly shaved noggin and your good to go. :@` :@` :@`i

I sent the company an email to see if they do have a US warehouse.

If they send back a "NO", I may just take you up on your offer!  :)

Just let me know how much $$ I need to send you!

(Unfortunately, I am not to keen on the conversion rates, so you'll have to clue me in on the price in US currency!!)  :XX

Thanks for the tip, is it available in any high street stores in the UK or just specialist shops? I trust your judgement, you have a shine and a half there. I'm looking for a shine that could cause car crashes on sunny days.

You will not be disapointed, once you have finished shaving give it a good cold water rince, pat dry, followed by a good witch hazel rub, let that air dry then give it a good dollop of the dr organics. dont rub it all the way in to the skin, rub it all over the dome then let it air dry, result a blinding eye hurting shine, that WILL get comments. glad to be of help O0 O0 O0

Hi guys.  I'm new here, but been head shaving for a few years now. I second the dr organics recommendation. It's great stuff. I also use the tea tree wash pre shave.
