Hello from Northern Illinois

I made a few posts, but now have an updated avatar of me.  It's nice to have a picture go with the posts.  I think it looks good and I have gotten a number of compliments.  Some people were shocked because I have a full head of hair otherwise.   The stubble will probably go this weekend.  I ordered my Headblade products and they should be in by the end of the week.

I wouldn't call being SLY low maintenance though.  The past week I have clipped it with no guard in the morning and evening.  I am constantly looking at it.  O:O  Anyway, I post a pic next weekend after I put a headblade to the stubble!  Great forum.

Agreed, it's not low maintence, it's once a daily religiously for me, gots to be sly as close to 24/7 as possible!

My wife's boss, once commented on the fact that I didn't have to shave (no MPB) and he said, it must be becasue it's low maintence and SHE said, are you kidding, it's totally high maintence to look this good! Her words....she's the best!

GBORN, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!  I think most of us agree that it's not a low maintenance lifestyle, but it sure beats any other hairstyle.  O0  Glad you found us.

 O0 O0 Welcome, GBorn. It's a choice. Since going sly in November '06, I have, like the Funnelweaver, become something of a fanatic. So, it's a daily shave for me. Love being smooth; wife loves it too. May shave twice a day to defeat the velcro. All best, Professor Melon
