Shaved my head this morning after thinking about it over the weekend. The discussions on this forum really helped alot, especially when finding the right products and how to use them. Only one nic, so I would call it a success.
Spent the last 12 years losing my hair and finally one day last year I saw the top of my head in a security camera and thought "Wow, that looks, um, interesting" and started getting shorter buzz cuts until I found this forum.
I used my own Wahl sheers to take my hair down to stubble, then used a recommended shave gel blade to finish the rest of it off;

Welcome! I started the same way. Started out by cutting my hair shorter and shorter until finally I was using a Wahl clipper with no guard. Took the next step and used a blade. As of now, I'll never go back.
