New Guy
« on: November 21, 2010, 08:04:07 AM »
Folks:

I just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Tom Ohlendorf. I am a semi-retired DJ by night and a Federal employee by day.

I've been shaving my head for close to two years now. I have tried various blades and am open to other experiments.

Before anyone says anything, I have tried the headblade and am not happy with that one. I am looking for a blade that can both handle my head and my face.

Welcome DJ Tom. My current weapon of choice for my face and head is the Gillette® Fusion ProGlide. This is a very well made razor. The commercials had me a bit skeptical at first, but once I tried it, I truly liked it. Probably the best headsave ever.

Welcome to the community buddy, I hope you enjoy your stay O0

P.S.: you can flip the blade around on the Headblade so its easier to shave with.

Welcome!

I'm not a big HeadBlade fan either. I wanted to like it, but it just doesn't work well for me -- or I'm just too klutzy to use it properly.

A good old Mach3 works just fine for my head and face.

Welcome.  While there are a lot of HB fans, a substantial number still prefer other weapons--I really like the Personna M5--but I know that it's an affair that must end.  Fortunately I have a pretty good stache of M5 blades and now that I stopped shaving my face they'll last a lot longer O0

Welcome aboard Tom.   After years of shaving, I am back to the old reliable, Mach 3.   For me it is still the best answser for the dome and the face.
