Bal Guyz Moiture Gel Warning?
« on: October 19, 2010, 02:33:07 PM »
I've been noticing that after using this product I break out severly. So after looking at ingredient list I found this site.   http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ingredient.php?ingred06=701923
Covering the ingriedient DIAZOLIDINYL UREA. Not sure if this is the problem or not but it doesn't sound good.

I also checked some of the different sites ,and this could be something your sensitive to. There is some safety concerns above 0.5% it seems. But then again what is 100% safe.So much of what we use is questionable. Check on sun screens and see what I mean.

I've never used Bald Guyz brand items, although I've seen it in stores.
I am usually very careful of what I use. It's one reason why I usually use Women's razors and shaving cream. I always buy things that are for sensitive skin.

I use Bald Guyz Moisture Gel and love it.

I use it as a back up...since I had bought a few tubes early on.  I find it feels sloppy for too long after application...but will use it when I run out of my primary routine supply.

I am also in the love it category. I use a pea size dollop, rub it into the skin and it is dry in seconds. If it stays too sloppy, you may just be using a bit too much. Gives me a nice refreshing feel right after a shave.

Hey Big Mike,

Do you have Hay Fever and allergic to ragweed The reason I ask is because we have Chamomile in our product and it is in the ragweed family. Some who are allergic may break out from using our product.

We stand behind our product and it is 100% safe!

My head looks a lot worse after I use Bald Guyz moisturizer. I put it on because I want to reduce my irritation, but it seems to irritate my skin even more. I've notice it stings a little bit, but I figured that meant it was working...

I'm not going to use it for a couple days and see what happens.

I can't use it anymore because it causes me to break out too.   :(

I've switched to Nivea For Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm.   O0

I've switched to Nivea For Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm.   O0

Nivea is way better (Thanks Sgt.),
  • It doesn't irritate the skin
  • Gets rid of your already existing irritation
  • Doesn't sting
  • And if memory serves me right its about the same price as Bald Guyz

Nivea is really good, one other reason why I switched was because Nivea is q better brand and judging by the products of theirs I have used, they make good quality products. I had irritation on the back of my head for nearly a month and a half and after using Nivea twice its nearly gone. No I am not being paid by the makers of Nivea. (with the way the Headland is praised on here you would expect some people do. I know they are a sponsor but geesh, its not that good. Maybe with a different blade its better, but out of the product its like using s butter knife lol)

I used the Nivea for Men Sensitive for several years, then tried the newer Nivea for Men "Extreme Comfort" post shave balm & love it! It's a bit more expensive than the standard Nivea Sensitive, but worth it for me.

I use both the Bald Guyz shave gel and moisture gel, and have been happy with both.  I also sometimes use the Headblade shave cream, and like it as well.  But, what works for some doesn't work for others.
