So the other day I was walking down a stairwell and my building with a crowd of people. My buddy was about 4 people behind me and he yelled "HEY SKINHEAD". I turned around and looked directly at the guy behind me and I swear he dropped a brick or two. I didnt even give him a mean look but he immediatly got this, OH CRAP face. After seeing his distress I just smiled at him and that eased him a little and he grinned back. Anyone else get reactions of fear just because your a stranger and sly?
Who could be afraid of this guy?!

I am a rather burly guy who whose natural look is one of determination bordering on anger. It is nothing I have ever worked on it is just there. That and the shaved head have served that purpose many times. On occasion it has served me well on and once in a while it has been to my detriment.
Yes and I admit using it to my advantage at times!
I had something similar happen when I was with my daughter at the playground. Some little boy was acting a bit aggressive toward my daughter, but nothing I was to worried about. Then I saw the dad on the other side of the playground who was watching what his son was doing and not saying anything. The dad couldn't see me and then I stepped around the playground and when he did see me he instantly shouted out to his son - "son, make sure you play nice!" I just smirked and stood there.
I'm a rather intimidating guy and all men fear me, all women want me ................ then I woke up!

Seriously, I have occassionally felt I gave off a "don't f**k with me vibe" that was taken just that way. Maybe it's the slick noggin', who knows.
Bottom line, I wouldn't f**k with me!
Another advantage of being bald: more incentive to smile and be friendly so as not to be mistaken for a hardass! Unless of course you want to give off that vibe, which certainly isn't a bad thing all the time.
I'm soft as putty most of the time...but I certainly get called 'Sir' by shop assistants more now than I used to...
